Position Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven leader for our Director of Partnerships and Alliances role with a robust background in forming and growing high-impact partnerships, directly influencing company growth and revenue. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer and aligning closely with the company’s C-suite and founding team, this position requires an executive who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of executing a dual-pronged approach: organic growth through partnership development and inorganic growth via partner acquisition. You will be tasked with developing and sustaining strong relationships with executives, GTM (Go-To-Market), partner enablement, and sales teams at both Gruve and partner organizations to capture new business opportunities, negotiate deals, unlock incentives, and close strategic partnerships. This partner-facing position will identify, develop, and manage strategic alliances that drive business growth and strengthen market presence. This role is essential for helping Gruve build a strong ecosystem of partners and clients to support scaling efforts.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, establish, and nurture relationships with prospective and assigned global partners to drive value, long-term growth, and profitability.
- Build and leverage relationships with strategic accounts for enhanced engagement and partnership success that complement and enhance Gruve’s offerings.
- Design and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy that emphasizes growth and partnership benefits.
- Engage and present the company's services and solutions value proposition to partners, positioning Gruve as an essential component of their success.
- Create and implement strategies to surpass revenue goals through partnership-driven growth.
- Lead initiatives to identify acquisition opportunities that align with company objectives.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Gruve, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to showcase our value proposition and establish new relationships.
- Enable sales and business development initiatives to drive company growth.
- Develop financial strategies focusing on incentives, rebates, margin expansion, partner referrals, and sustainable growth.
- Build and manage a high-performing team to support and scale partnership growth.
- Work with leadership to align and structure compensation plans that encourage high performance.
- Provide regular readouts to key stakeholders on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in strategic partnerships or business development roles with a strong track record of success in high-tech environments.
- Demonstrated success in building and expanding global alliances.
- Knowledge and professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Center, and Cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of industry trends.
- Strong partnership ecosystem knowledge, especially with leading high-tech organizations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of presenting strategic plans to C-level executives, senior leaders, and other lines of business.
- Proven leadership skills in managing teams to achieve partnership growth and revenue objectives.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Must be able to travel for partner engagements and industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business. MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
